Embracing the strong work ethics and family values of his blue collar roots, Shelby quickly learned that desire wasn’t enough. The youngest of five children, he knew it would take vision, determination, and perseverance to create the life he envisioned.

This early life lesson helped Shelby develop a personal foundation of success that continues to serve him today. In fact, for over twenty years, he has used these same guiding principles to help individuals and businesses define and build their own foundation of financial success.

A fun-loving traveler and accomplished chef, Shelby enjoys entertaining and cooking for his extended family and friends. He knows that in life as well as wealth management, it takes a delicate balance of ingredients to create a recipe for success.

Having experienced the dynamics of a blended family and loss of a child, Shelby brings empathy and perspective to financial life planning that connects with his clients.

Shelby understands the importance of building a strong foundation for our youth. He serves as a Board Member of the Boy Scouts of America/Great Trail Council and is a Regional Board Member of the Boy Scouts of America representing over one million boys. He is also a Board Member of Goodwill Industries of Akron, Ohio.

Co-founder of W3 Wealth Management, Shelby’s practice includes personal and business financial planning, estate planning, retirement income planning, business succession planning, investment management, qualified plans and insurance protection.

Shelby holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Akron, and is licensed in securities and insurance.
